Francis McCaffrey of Dillsburg is determined to get an associate degree.
A Northern High School graduate, he enrolled at HACC because it is close to home, inexpensive and he can work. And that he does. McCaffrey works full time at the Rite-Aid Technical Call Center and part time cleaning
cars while also taking classes. He first majored in computers but switched to engineering. Neither captured his interest. So, he moved to home and building remodeling because “I always liked to build stuff.” “I definitely do enjoy the classes,” he said. “My instructor teaches the way I like to learn. He uses the hands-on approach, incorporating real life into his classes.”
