| Who May Use The Lab? |
| Any current student that is taking classes during the semester, HACC alumni and people from the community. In cases where labs are full, priorities will go to current students working on class research. |
What Do I Need? |
| Students using PC’s in the lab should provide their own storage media to save their work. NO ONE may save work on the hard drives if any files are saved to the hard drive they will be deleted. |
What Kind Of Help Can I Get? |
| Help is available to get students started with logging into the network and usage. For more help with class information, tutors are located in the Learning Center in room 130. Please remember the Library or IT staff are not tutors and CAN NOT help with a student’s homework. Detailed questions should be taken to the course’s instructor. |
Standards:
- All students must obtain a network ID to use the computer lab.
- All students are required to follow all rules and regulations of the computer lab. Failure to do so will result in the revoking of privileges and possible disciplinary actions.
- Please see additional rules and regulations posted in the lab.
- Messages on the bulletin boards will provide updates on closing or if lab availability changes.

Suggestions:
Save Your Work Often! And make sure that it is being saved to storage media. Lab attendants cannot be held responsible if you lose your work.
- Save your work in more than one location to prevent data loss
- Take good care of your media; do not store it in extreme temperatures or in direct sunlight. Do not place it near a magnetic object.
- Start on projects early. The lab tends to get full around midterms and finals.
