Course Description:

Study of art from prehistoric times through the Middle Ages. The course emphasises the relationship between art and social, economic, religious, and geographical conditions. Historical contexts of contemporary forms of expression are discussed whenever relevant. Western and non-Western cultures are discussed. Prerequisite: Eligibility for enrollment in ENGL 101 and completion of any reading courses required by the College Testing and Program. (Core A) (D) |
