About the Program
HACC has been providing affordable and successful paramedic training since 1980. We have trained over 500 paramedics who have not only pursued careers in pre-hospital medicine, but also education, management, the fire service, and as advanced-level practitioners.
We offer state-of-the-art facilities, including cutting-edge technologies and equipment. We utilize the nursing and respiratory care labs as well as an ambulance simulator to pose realistic challenges to students. Our clinical and preceptor sites offer a variety of field experiences - from the busy, urban environment of Pennsylvania's capital city, to the more relaxed pace of the Pennsylvania Dutch and Amish communities. Each provides different learning encounters and produces a more versatile and employable paramedic.
Our staff is comprised of seasoned paramedics, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, physicians, and an array of subject matter experts to ensure that students receive the most contemporary and practical knowledge and information. Each one is committed to making your paramedic education the best it can be by sharing their wealth of knowledge and field experience, and encouraging you to think and exchange ideas.
We now offer an online paramedic program - the first of its kind in Pennsylvania - that allows students to complete the traditional classroom portions of the class at their convenience anywhere and anytime they please within the confines of the course schedule!
