HACC Helps Organizations Support Employee Success Through HACCpplication Days

HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, is making it easier for local employers and organizations to help their employees take the next step in their education and careers.

Through HACCpplication Days for Organizations, HACC partners with businesses, nonprofits, school districts, community organizations and other groups to offer in-person and virtual admissions application support for employees, students, clients and stakeholders who are interested in earning a HACC credential. During these events, HACC admissions professionals help participants complete HACC’s admissions application on the spot, making the first step toward college more accessible, convenient and encouraging.

This initiative is especially valuable for organizations that want to invest in workforce development, employee advancement and long-term talent retention. Whether an employee is seeking a certificate, degree, career change or advancement opportunity, HACC provides a practical pathway to help them build skills, gain credentials and prepare for new opportunities.

Organizations that are not quite ready to host a HACCpplication Day can still partner with HACC. The College offers virtual and in-person presentations for organizations whose employees, students, clients or other stakeholders want to learn more about earning a credential from HACC. HACC representatives also can attend events hosted by organizations.

For employers, HACCpplication Days can remove barriers that often prevent individuals from starting college. Instead of asking employees to navigate the admissions process alone, organizations can bring HACC directly to them. HACC admissions professionals provide guidance, answer questions and help participants complete the admissions application process in a supportive setting.

HACC also offers flexibility for companies that provide tuition assistance. Companies may be billed for tuition, books and/or fees for participating employees. If a company does not offer tuition assistance, employees may be billed directly. Trade programs also may be included in HACCpplication Days.

Organizations interested in hosting a HACCpplication Day or scheduling a presentation are encouraged to complete this online form to begin the process:
