Fall 2009 Season Highlights:

Oct. 24th- The Men’s Soccer Team traveled to Bucks CCC, for the first round EPCC Tournament play, with #4 ranked HACC against #1 ranked Bucks. The rain was relentless throughout the entire game, but proved to be no match for the HACC Hawks as they came out ahead at the end. The Hawks were the first to score early in the game, taking a 1-0 lead. Ryan Ehring came in with the Hawks second goal of the game. The Bucks snuck one goal past Josh Buser, to bring the score to 2-1. Not more then 5 minutes after his last goal, with a great assist from Steve Odeyeme, Ehring scored his second goal of the game, and the third goal for the hawks. The Hawks finished the half with a score of 3-1. The Hawks did all the hard work in the first half of the game, and had to defend their effort throughout the second half. The Bucks only goal of the second half was scored off of a penalty kick. The Hawks dominated the second half of the game, and finished with the win and a final score of 3-2. The HACC Hawks will advance to the EPCC and PCAA Championship Match this coming Saturday, October 31st. They will travel to and take on Northampton CC Spartans.

Sept. 24th- The Hawks had a slow go, but were able to continue their winning streak this week with a victory over Bucks CCC, bringing their overall record to 3-2. The Centurions were a tough opponent for the Hawks with both teams scoreless at halftime, but the Hawks got ahead with fifteen minutes left in the second half. Stephen Handford's seventh attempt on goal got past Buck's goalie to put the Hawks ahead. The Hawks kept the Centurions scoreless, and won the game, 1-0.The Hawks are on the road this Saturday as they take on Montgomery CCC at 2pm. The Hawks will be back at home on Wednesday, September 30th, so come out and support your Hawks! Kickoff is 4pm on Wednesday! Go Hawks!!


Sept. 22nd- The Hawks struggled against Reading ACC in the first half of today's game, trailing by one goal at halftime. Ryan Ehring stepped his game up in the second half of the game scoring three goals for the Hawks. The entire game was a constant battle for control of the ball between both HACC and Reading. Michael Beshore came in with the fourth and final goal of the afternoon with five minutes to go in the second half. The final score of the afternoon was HACC 4 and Reading 2.The Hawks are back at home this Thursday, September 24th at 4pm as they take on Bucks CCC before heading out on the road this Saturday to take on Montgomery CCC. Come out and support your Hawks! Go Hawks!

Sept. 16th-The Hawks showed what they were made of on Wednesday, September 16th, as they took on Lehigh-Carbon CC at home. They started the game off keeping Lehigh-Carbon scoreless in the first half, going into the 2nd half leading 1-0. The second half was no easy battle when the rain started, but Ryan Ehring was able to make the best of the situation, scoring two goals for the Hawks. The Hawks maintained their determination to win throughout the game, and came out with the win at the end, giving up two goals to Lehigh-Carbon for a final score of 3-2. The Hawks will be at home again this Saturday as they take on Northampton CC at 1pm, come out and cheer on your Hawks!!

2008 Season Highlights:

Saturday, September 27, Harrisburg, PA - The HACC Hawks were hosting EPCC rival Bucks Community College at the Evans Physical Education Center Soccer Field. It was tough weather conditions and tougher play by the visitors that could not be over come by the Hawks on this rain soaked Saturday. Bucks Community College played outstanding soccer and took it to the next level, defeating the Hawks 3-9. HACC played hard and competed well but were not able to overcome their opponents on this rain soaked Saturday. The loss dropped the Hawks to 3-3 in EPCC Conference action.

One very big positive for HACC today was how hard competed throughout the second half in adverse conditions. After giving up six goals and scoring only one in the first half, the Hawks rebounded scoring two goals and limiting Bucks to half as many in the second. The Hawks demonstrated true grit and determination in the second half battling a tough opponent in very tough conditions. Lets go HAWKS...

Tuesday, September 23, Harrisburg, PA - The Hawks were at home today hosting EPCC Conference rival Reading Community College. The Hawks were victorious defeating Reading by 2-0 score. Next up for the Hawks will be a home game this Saturday, Sept 27 against Bucks Community College. GO HAWKS!

Saturday, September 20, Harrisburg, PA - The HACC Soccer team hosted Northampton today in EPCC Conference action. The Hawks fell by a 1-3 score. HACC now stands at 2-2 in EPCC Conference action and will host Reading Community College Tue. Sept. 23rd at 4:00pm. Lets go Hawks...
