Evans PE Center Weight Room



The Evans Center Fitness Center is open to all student, alumni, and employees of HACC who have a valid HACCid card.

There is a student worker present at all times to help with spotting and enforce the facility's safety regulations.

The Fitness Center occasionally closes due to class reservations. Signs are posted at least two weeks in advance, located at the Evans Center Front Desk, outside the Fitness Center entrance.

If you are uncertain, you can always check with the Front Desk @ (717) 780-2529.


Fitness Center Rules:

  • Sneakers must be worn at all times (no sandals; no boots; no dress shoes)

  • Appropriate workout clothing is to be worn i.e. shorts, sweatpants, t-shirt (no jeans; no clothing with rivets)

  • Shirts are to be worn at all times

  • We ask that you use collars on all bars and disinfect equipment after use

  • Guests must be 18 years of age or older in order to enter/use the Fitness Center


Fitness Center is equipped with the following equipment:

  • Free weights
  • Cybex stationary equipment
  • 3 elliptical trainers
  • 2 treadmills
  • 1 stairmaster
