What is HACC's Targeted Retraining for Dislocated Workers?
Targeted retraining is a specialized program to give the region's jobless the education and skills for jobs currently needed by Central Pennsylvania's employers. Successful completion of the program does not guarantee employment but does give graduates specific training to qualify for high-demand jobs.

Opportunities for Dislocated Workers Information Sessions
Information sessions are being held at each of the five campuses of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College. These sessions are for individuals who have already been approved for the Targeted Retraining for Dislocated Workers program and/or have received a referral packet from CareerLink. Contact a HACC Campus Admissions Office to schedule for a Opportunities for Dislocated Workers Information Session. The sessions are as follows:
Gettysburg Campus Sessions
When: Nov 24, Dec 8, Jan 12 from 11:00 - noon
Location: Library's Instructional Lab
Students should call Carol Widerman at 337-3855 x 3002 or 337-3855 x 3076 to schedule a time for the next session.
Harrisburg Campus Sessions
When: Wednesdays beginning April 1 at 10 a.m.
Location: Cooper 204
Lancaster Campus Sessions
Sessions offered on Wednesday - Main Bldg, Room 221. Individuals will be asked to call the Career & Transfer Center at 358-2290 to schedule a time.
Lebanon Campus Sessions
By appointment: Please call 270-4222 to make an intake appointment with Kay Litman
York Campus Sessions:
Location: Room 106 with the exception of the May 28th session which will be held in Room 119
