The Career Services Office at HACC (Central Pennsylvania's Community College) is committed to providing guidance and resources that empower students and alumni to attain their career-related goals.In partnership with staff, faculty and employers, career services professionals facilitate career development by providing career counseling and coaching, self-assessments, experiential learning opportunities, job preparation assistance, and other resources for obtaining employment.

No matter how unsure or confused you might feel, we can help you in your search for information and options for your future.

Students and Alumni

There are many services you can benefit from as a student. Our Career Advisors can help in assessing your interests, personality traits, and skills so that you can make informed decisions about your choice of major and career goals.

In addition to offering career guidance, Career Services can assist you with the following:

• Developing good interview skills
• Job preparation and search
• Various career events throughout the year

Employers

HACC welcomes area employers to recruit our very talented pool of students for employment and internship opportunities. HACC offers over 160 credit career and transfer programs, plus numerous non-credit training programs. If you have a position that needs filled, HACC is an excellent place to look for a competent student to fill your employment needs.

All employers are encouraged to register with our free, on-line job posting service at www.collegecentral.com/hacc. Once registered and approved, you can manage your own job postings at HACC. All students and alumni are directed to this site when they are seeking employment. Registration also allows you to view students who have registered and uploaded their resume. You will also be notified of Career events that may be of interest to you, such as on-campus recruitment, career symposiums, and our annual spring Internship and Job Fair.
