Each class offering of any course has its own unique identification number.
This is referred to as the CRN (or Course Reference Number). Typically, the CRN consists of 5 digits for Spring or Fall semesters and 4 digits for summer semesters.
For example, you might register for a fall section of an online Accounting 101 course which has a CRN of 20001.
Blackboard System and Internet Explorer 8: We are still testing various things with it but wanted to make you aware of one thing. Windows 7 comes with Internet Explorer 8 and there is no way that we know of to go back to Internet Explorer 7. We mention this since Blackboard (WebCT) has issues with IE 8. The workaround we have found so far is to install and use another browser. We recommend Mozilla Firefox but you can also look at Google Chrome, Apple Safari, Opera, etc. We will continue to evaluate Windows 7 and will share any other major concerns if we find any.
