Each class offering of any course has its own unique identification number.
This is referred to as the CRN (or Course Reference Number). Typically, the CRN consists of 5 digits for Spring or Fall semesters and 4 digits for summer semesters.
For example, you might register for a fall section of an online Accounting 101 course which has a CRN of 20001.
The Virtual Campus offers courses to students outside of the College’s traditional service area.
Beginning in Fall 2009, the Virtual Campus is offering face-to-face classes in Mifflin and Juniata Counties.

How to apply
The following instructional video will help you understand how to submit an application for part-time faculty employment at Harrisburg Area Community College.
How to be course-qualified
Course qualification is the process by which faculty and curriculum deans review your credentials to certify you to teach specific courses at HACC. In most subject areas, this qualification requires, at a minimum, a master’s degree in the subject area.
To have your credentials reviewed for course-qualification, you must submit an application to the College’s employment website, https://jobs.hacc.edu. The College does not accept paper applications. When the course-qualification process is complete, you will receive an auto-generated email informing you of it..
Contact Elaine Holland (717) 780-1158 (edhollan@hacc.edu) for further information on becoming a HACC instructor of Mifflin and Juniata County face-to-face courses.
