Below you will find the link to access both the sample Online Success course and a Blackboard (WebCT) orientation course. The online orientation will provide you with information on navigating Blackboard (WebCT), the class delivery system used for most online and web-enhanced instruction at HACC. (Note: Many math courses and Spanish use a different system.) Visit the sample Online Success course to see how an online course might be organized. You will have the opportunity to view tutorials and practice using common online tools in both courses.

If you are registered for an online course or an on-campus course which utilizes Blackboard (WebCT), work through the Blackboard (WebCT) Orientation as soon as possible. It will help you prepare to use Blackboard (WebCT) for your course.

Before beginning, please run Blackboard (WebCT)'s Browser Tune Up to be sure your computer and browser are properly set up to work with WebCT.

Enter Blackboard (WebCT) by going to the Blackboard (WebCT) login page (http://webct.hacc.edu).

Login using the following information:

• User Name -- enter haccstudent

If you have registered for an online course, you will be mailed a postcard with specific login instructions for your course a week or two before you course begins. You can also view the login instructions on your course information page linked from the Virtual Campus class schedule.
