Dream It, Design It, And Build a Renaissance Costume!

Dream It! Design It! And Build a Renaissance Costume! (new description:) In five days, students will design and construct a costume from the Renaissance period! On the first day of class, you will examine the historical styles of European clothing from the 12th - 15th centuries. You will then design the costume, select the fabric from our enormous supply, and construct the costume using theatrical costume techniques. If you desire, you may construct the costume to fit you! During construction, you will be using our professional costume facilities and tools. At the end of the week, the costume is yours to keep. All supplies are included in the cost of the camp. The camp includes a short snack "mini-break" provided by the student.
** All students registering for this camp must have a working knowledge of a sewing machine and basic hand stitches. This camp is NOT for the beginning seamstress.
