HACC’s Liberal Arts Program offers a lot of versatility, allowing graduates to work toward a bachelor’s degree in any humanities subjects. The earned credits are transferrable to many four-year colleges and universities. Plus, it can also be completed at any of HACC’s five campuses or online through virtual learning.
Christopher Borroughs chose to complete his liberal arts education online at HACC. He was drawn to HACC because of “the affordable prices and diverse online class offerings.” When he was a student, Christopher was helped along throughout his journey by an academic advisor who he said “has gone the extra mile to help on a number of occasions.”
Christopher graduated from HACC in 2018 and is currently majoring in English at West Chester University. He said, “If HACC were no longer an option, I would not have been able to complete such a large portion of my degree online. I would have needed to attend West Chester much earlier and would not have been able to pay off all my debt thus far.”
Looking to the future, Christopher said he would like to become a proofreader, reading specialist or professor to give back to the community.
