College Marks 9th Year of SeriesHACC Presents Older American Holidayfest

Art, music, history, health, and holiday traditions are some of the areas to be explored during Harrisburg Area Community College's ninth annual Older American Holiday Fest, to be held Monday, November 29, between 8:30am and 2:45pm on the Wildwood Campus in Harrisburg.

Seniors who are 55 years old and older will have the chance to study these topics:

History
The American Revolution: Moravian Spies for General Washington
Unanswered Questions Surrounding the JFK assassination
Oppenheimer and the Atomic Bomb
       with guest instructor, Burt Helberg, who, in 1943 was a member of the Special Engineer        Detachment that was assigned to the Manhattan Project
Exploring the Tiny "Cottages" at Newport, Rhode Island
       with Director of HACC's Community Education Center, Dr. Donald Koones, who will present a tour of the "summer cottages" of the Vanderbilts and the Astors
