Hall Foundation Scholarships Awarded to HACC Students

The Hall Foundation of Camp Hill has awarded $1000 scholarships to 35 students who have enrolled at Harrisburg Area Community College for the 1999-2000 academic year.

Receiving the Hall Excellence scholarships were:

  • Carlisle High School- Shannon Wickline.
  • Central Dauphin High School- Robert Mourey.
  • Central Dauphin East High School- Stacy Logan.
  • Cumberland Valley High School- Erica Roy.
  • East Pennsboro High School- Amy Shepherd.
  • Harrisburg High School- Stephanie Nagle.
  • Home Schooled- Janelle Kolva.
  • Lower Dauphin High School- Matthew Wagner.
  • Mechanicsburg High School- Crystal Staub.
  • Middletown High School- Tanya Nikulin.
  • Newport High School- Jennifer Portzune.
  • Red Land High School- Kirk Gable.
  • Susquehanna High School- Angela Johnston.
  • Susquenita High School- Sarah Joswick and Casandra Reifsnyder.

Receiving the Hall Foundation incentive scholarship were, Dakita Ambush, Derreck Clagett, Karla Colon, Jessica Cruz, LaCresha Davenport, Shanika Davis, Joan Figueroa, Angel Fox, Bieu Hoang, Tiffancy Hosby, Tonhu Kim, Connie Laureano, Davena McCraw, Jessica Quinones, Lisa Randolph, Albania Rivera, Denise Syrkes, and Wanda Tonsel, all from Harrisburg High School.

Also, Sopha Choup, Lower Dauphin High School, and LaCresha Davenport, of Susquehanna High School.

The Hall Foundation is a private, family-oriented, nonprofit foundation established in 1952 by the late John N. Hall, a Harrisburg-area trucking magnate and energetic business and civic leader.

Since 1952, the foundation has contributed more than $5 million to education through scholarships and grants, assisting more than 5,000 deserving young men and women from all walks of life in their quest for higher education.

Applications for scholarships are available in local high schools or by contacting HACC's Office of Student Financial Services at 780-2330.
