Famous Brand and Product Logo Designs at HACC Exhibit

The Rose Lehrman Arts Center Gallery at Harrisburg Area Community College will host Recent Work from the Charles S. Anderson Design Company, a graphic design exhibition from the award winning design firm. The exhibit will run from Tuesday, September 2 - Friday, October 3, 2003.

Established in 1989, the Minneapolis-based Charles S. Anderson Design Company has produced award-winning packaging, identity, and product design for a diverse list of clients including French Paper, Nike, Target, Pottery Barn, Williams-Sonoma, Coca-Cola, Levi's, Sony, Nissan, Paramount Pictures, New York Times, Japanese Monster, and Turner Classic Movies. The firm's approach to design is a continuous evolution inspired by the highs and lows of art and printed culture.

The firm has received numerous awards and its work has been exhibited in museums worldwide, including the Museum of Modern Art and the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum in New York; the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C.; the Institute of contemporary Arts in London; the Museum für Gestaltung in Zürich; the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe in Hamburg; the Nouveau Salon des Cent, Centre Pompidou and the Bibliothèque nationale de France in Paris; and the Museum of Modern Art in Hiroshima. Its work will be included in the 2003 Design Triennial at the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum. Recent Work from the Charles S. Anderson Design Company will run from Tuesday, September 2 - Friday, October 3, 2003. All Gallery events are free and open to the public.
