Honors Lecture to Focus on Threat of New Viruses

The last lecture in a series presented by the Honors Program of Harrisburg Area Community College offers the discussion, "The Threat of New Viruses: Some Lessons from History." The public is invited to the free lecture, held at noon Wednesday, April 16, in Whitaker Hall room 214, on the Wildwood Campus of Harrisburg Area Community College.

Guest lecturer is Dr. Robert Jones, professor emeritus, Community and Family Medicine for Penn State University's College of Medicine. Participants are welcome to bring a bag lunch. Members of the media are invited.

HACC's Honors Program serves the educational needs of academically talented students seeking special intellectual challenges. It offers a diverse curriculum in general education requirements in the arts and sciences and electives in business, law, and computer science.
