HACC will host a Speakers Marketplace with several day-long sessions this spring designed to provide attendees with practical, effective business advice. In addition to the seminar itself, each session will include time for personal questions.
Each session will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the C. Ted Lick Wildwood Conference Center on HACC's Wildwood Campus in Harrisburg. Parking is free, and a luncheon buffet is included in the registration fee of $199 per person per session.
The program kicks off on Monday, April 26 with The Layered Approach to Information Security: Why It's Vital to Your Business. Speaker Kari Pace understands the needs for business operations to be both productive and secure.
Drawing on a decade of experience in information technology consulting for government and private-sector clients, Pace will help attendees understand where to look for weaknesses and how to strengthen their defenses in both hardware and software applications. On Tuesday, May 18, Glen Christopher will discuss Eight Things That Hackers Really Don't Want Your Company to Know. On Tuesday, May 25, lawyer, businessman, personnel consultant and trainer Max Muller will present Cutting Through the Confusion About ADA, FMLA and Workers' Comp.
