Lancaster Campus of HACC will offer classes in CPR, Medical Terminology

The Lancaster Campus of Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC) will offer CPR for Health Care Providers and Medical Terminology classes.

CPR for Health Care Providers will be offered in one session, Thursday, March 4, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. It will be repeated Friday, April 16, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

This course is required for those entering the allied health field or presently working in the health care setting.

Medical Terminology will be offered Wednesdays, Feb. 25 through April 28, 6-9 p.m. This 10-session course will provide the participant with an overview of medical terminology. The course is a prerequisite for all coding classes as well as pharmacology certificate programs.

Students will receive information on how to order books with registration confirmation. Books must be purchased before the first class.

Early registration is suggested for all Allied Health classes at the Lancaster Campus of HACC, as it is one of the most popular programs of study. Information may be obtained by accessing the Website below or by calling (717) 358-2901.
