Participants will learn that Medicare does not, under any circumstance, pay for professional long term care. Medicaid will help only when a family has spent down to the poverty level.

Participants also will learn when it is too late for an individual to get insured by any carrier for any amount of money. This seminar will appeal to pre-senior age groups, particularly those who have parents who are already contemplating their retirement years, as well as seniors.

Auctions @ eBay will be offered in two sessions, Nov. 30 and Dec. 2, 6-9 p.m. Participants will discover that eBay is more than just a Web site and what's behind successful auctions. These sessions are designed to help students understand the depth of the auction, and what they'll be signing up for when they decide to join in.

Mixology is a three-class series offered Mondays, Dec. 6-20, 5-8 p.m. Designed for the person who does a lot of entertaining or for someone seeking personal enrichment, the class will focus on product identification, drink classification, glassware, garnishing and the art of mixology.
