Lebanon Campus Workshop helps students bridge gap between education and earning

Feb. 24, 2005

Everyone wants to be a success. The hard part is figuring out the education and career path that's right for you.

That's why the Lebanon Campus of HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College, offers a free college planning workshop Thursday, March 3, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., regardless of where you plan to attend school.

Whether you are a high school student checking out prospective colleges or a wage earner already in the work force but looking to drop back into college, HACC is your guide to bridging the gap between your education and your earning potential. HACC even offers free help in filling out the FAFSA student financial aid forms. Plus, representatives from a various four-year colleges around the state will be available to talk about their programs.

"We help people find solutions to their educational dilemmas and chart a course that fits their life and ambition," said Ralph Dyer, dean of HACC's Lebanon Campus.

HACC also provides information on its accelerated degree programs and dual-admission partnerships the college has with a host of Pennsylvania's colleges and universities.

"No matter what stage of life you are in, there's probably an educational program at HACC to fit your lifestyle," Dyer said.

The HACC Lebanon Campus College Fair is held at Dixon Hall, 735 Cumberland St., Lebanon. Call the campus, (717)-270-HACC, or visit the Web site, below, for information.
