HACC's Business Start-up Center will present the annual Women on the Move one-day conference on Tuesday, October 17, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the C. Ted Lick Wildwood Conference Center on the Harrisburg Campus of HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College.

Presented by women for women, HACC's third annual Women on the Move Conference can provide the tools necessary to turn dreams of business success into a reality. Women who are either moving toward starting a business or who have already begun their entrepreneurial journey will benefit from this full-day conference for businesswomen. The cost of the day-long conference is $30, which includes a continental breakfast and lunch.

The highly successful and unique program delivers rapid-fire presentations on the most useful entrepreneurial resources and offers savvy, tangible advice from successful entrepreneurs.

This popular program will also highlight presentations on helpful resources such as financial planning, marketing assistance, business planning and professional counseling. "The keynote speakers have dynamic personalities and will serve as great motivators for those in attendance," explained Fran Verotsky, acting director of the Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies. "This year, for the first time, we will invite participants to return for periodic networking sessions where they will have the opportunity to network, receive new ideas, and get feekback from counselors."

The morning's keynote speaker is Casey Sheehe of Red Daisy Training & Development. Sheehe's presentation is titled "The Confidence Connection." Susan Pera of Cornerstone Coffeehouse will serve as the luncheon speaker with her presentation "Risky Business."

Space is limited. Please call (717) 780-2414 or (717) 780-2616 by October 9 to register for the Women on the Move event. For more information, call Judy White at (717) 221-1311 or you can send her an email by clicking on the address below.
