York Campus noncredit sessions offer new voice acting course and how to make homemade wine

HACC's York Campus continues to offer noncredit sessions meant to enrich your personal life during the cooler months ahead.

The sessions are held at the York Campus, located at 2010 Pennsylvania Avenue.

New this fall is "Getting Paid to Talk," an introduction to voice acting offered from 6:30-9 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 19. Another session is available at HACC's Gettysburg Campus from 6:30-9 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 15. Cost is $39.

During the two and a half hour session, students from every walk of life will learn what it takes to become a professional voice actor. From the basics to studio recording and landing jobs, Senior Creative Director for Voice Coaches John Gallogly will introduce participants to this exciting field. Gallogly has been involved in acting voice work, singing and performance since age nine. His industry experience, including his work as a professional announcer, provides broad perspective to aspiring voice actors across the country.

Making Homemade Wine - Learn how making wine can be as simple as baking cookies. Held from 6:15-9:15 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 15. Cost is $50.
