Adams County native joins staff at Central Pennsylvania's Community College

GETTYSBURG -Adams County native Jessica Knouse has been appointed Student Life Coordinator for the Gettysburg Campus of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College.
In this part-time position, Knouse will be responsible for advising and overseeing the campus Student Government Association, planning and implementing student activities and events, and promoting and supporting student clubs and organizations.
Knouse is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, where she worked within the Office of Student Activities and provided services for approximately 600 active student groups. She was also a member of Theta Nu Xi Multicultural Sorority Inc. She has worked for the Gettysburg Area School District as a long-term substitute and field hockey and softball coach.
Knouse is looking forward to helping build a strong and active student community at the HACC-Gettysburg campus. “Being involved in an organization can be quite rewarding on many levels,” she said. “Students can build strong personal relationships, develop leadership skills, and have a chance to make a difference here at HACC.”
