LANCASTER – Lancaster residents in search of a more promising future can enroll in college courses offered by HACC at the Spanish American Civic Association (SACA)’s La Academia site starting in January.
The public is invited to come to La Academia, 38 N. Ann St., at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, to find out more about HACC’s evening classes that meet during the week at the center. Five courses will be offered starting the last week in January, including English, math, strategy-based reading, college success and a course on the national political system.
You’ll also get details about financial aid, course curriculum, application procedures and how to register for the classes offered by HACC-Lancaster. Students who successfully enroll and complete classes at SACA are eligible to enroll in classes at the Lancaster Campus, 1641 Old Philadelphia Pike.
“This is an effort by the college to meet the needs of the city population, which is an ethnically diverse community,” says Brad A. Wolf, Dean of Academic Affairs at the Lancaster Campus of HACC. “"This new site will help more city residents meet their dream of attending college."
