HACC partners with FCCTC to offer mechatronics

Attend April 16 info session to find out more about this high-demand career

CHAMBERSBURG – HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, will host an information session/open registration event for students interested in pursuing a hot new career in mechatronics at the Franklin County Career and Technology Center (FCCTC).

The session is scheduled from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, April 16, at the FCCTC, 2463 Loop Road, Chambersburg. Summer classes begin in May.

Program representatives will be on hand to discuss the curriculum, careers in the mechatronics -- a high-demand technical field combining mechanical systems and electronic controls -- and opportunities to complete a diploma, certificate or associate degree in this high-demand career.

In addition, students will be able to apply for admission to the program, register for classes, make tuition payments and meet with financial aid representatives. Classes are scheduled during evening hours to accommodate the schedules of those who are currently working.
