Learn about Rock Band life at HACC's School of Rock

7-week sessions for teens held at Harrisburg, Lancaster campuses
Jan. 8, 2009
Aspiring guitarists with a yen for the styles of the legendary Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd or Guns N’ Roses can live a rock star dream by participating in HACC’s seven-week School of Rock Academy.
Students ages 12-17 will learn quick and basic chords along with popular riffs. No prerequisite is required, and the school is for all – from absolute beginners to moderate novices.
Make new friends and learn about the Rock Band life at sessions offered at the Harrisburg and Lancaster campuses. Participants need to bring an acoustic or electric guitar, guitar picks, a tuner, drumsticks, pencils and a notebook.
The school costs $80 and is offered 7-9 p.m. Fridays, Jan. 23-March 6, at the Harrisburg Campus and 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturdays March 21-April 18 at the Lancaster Campus.
