March 15, 2010
LANCASTER – Students thinking about attending college can get the latest information at “Get It Started,” a free open house at the Lancaster Campus of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College.
The information-packed, continuous session runs from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, March 27, in the community room of the Main Building of the campus at 1641 Old Philadelphia Pike.
“We hold this annual event to help high school seniors and juniors who are in the process of making decisions about their career paths,” said Alicia Laughman, enrollment management coordinator. “But, really, it is helpful for anyone who is considering furthering his or her education and needs help with how to get started.”
Participants will learn about the college’s academic programs, admissions policies, financial aid and support services. Information to enroll for summer and fall terms will be available, as well as career counseling. Visitors are welcome to tour of the campus. Reserve a seat for the free program by calling 358-2246 or go to www.hacc.edu/getitstarted.
