Aug. 4, 2010
Harrisburg, PA – Workers who practice a trade or craft items by hand are invited to market their products at one of HACC’s juried Artisan Marketplaces in November and December.
Artists can find out more at any of the upcoming information sessions:
  • HACC-York Campus, Goodling Center, 2010 Pennsylvania Ave., York, 2-5 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 11.
  • The Gallery of the Perry County Council of the Arts, 1 S. Second St., Newport, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 18.
  • HACC- Midtown I, room 227, 1523 N. Fourth St., Harrisburg, 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 25.
Participants should bring a sampling of their work to the session.
HACC’s Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies has partnered with York Arts in York, Gunnar Galleries in Gettysburg and Perry County Council of the Arts in Newport to bring the Artisan Marketplace to those areas.
“Some of the artists who participate have come to us through HACC’s Fulton Bank Small Business Center,” said David McNaughton, a business counselor for the institute. “Artisan Marketplace is growing, and we welcome and encourage more artists who can gain from this business experience.”
For more information or to register, contact McNaughton at 717-221-1312 or e-mail dwmcnaug@hacc.edu.
