HACC-Lancaster Campus celebrates CommYOUnity Day

Families, friends invited to share festival fun on May 22

LANCASTER -- Help celebrate the 20th anniversary of the HACC-Lancaster Campus at CommYOUnity Day from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, May 22, at the Main Building and grounds of the campus, 1641 Old Philadelphia Pike.
This annual free, fun-filled, educational event celebrates the partnerships between the community and the students, alumni, faculty and staff at the campus. This year it focuses on the milestone achieved by the campus by “Celebrating 20 years of education and partnering in the community.”
Among the attractions scheduled are:
  • Musical entertainment with performances by Dooligus, Darry Miller & the Veil, and Dave Wilson & Tom Pontz Jazz;
  • Strolling entertainment;
  • Kids’ zone with games, crafts, face painting, storytelling, inflatable bounces, popcorn and balloons;
  • Appalachian Air Canines (Frisbee dogs);
  • Car wash;
  • Local arts and crafts, and food vendors;
  • Special guest appearances including Cylo, the Lancaster Barnstormers mascot;
  • New this year is a number of special events for HACC alumni.
