HACC Talkabouts scheduled in June

Session held at the Lancaster, Harrisburg and York campuses

June 3             Talkabouts – HACC-Lancaster Campus, East Building – Hear from a local entrepreneur who has a mission to “Design for Good” during the June session of HACC’s Talkabouts. “A Woman with Moxie” will feature Deborah Brandt, owner of Moxie House. Brandt will share her insights as an entrepreneur and creative enterprise with an eclectic portfolio of work that includes showcasing the best about downtown Lancaster.
                        Held noon-1:30 p.m. Friday, June 3, in the East Building room 202 at HACC’s Lancaster Campus, 1641 Old Philadelphia Pike. Participants are encouraged to bring a brown bag lunch. Dessert and beverage provided by HACC’s Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies. June 16           Talkabouts – HACC-Harrisburg Campus, Midtown 1 – Learn how to make important connections and build strong business relationships during the June session of HACC’s Talkabouts. “Building Relationships for Business Success” will feature Curtis Burwell, Pennsylvania Department of General Services. Burwell will discuss how having confidence in yourself and what you have to offer, as well as creating the right connections, is necessary to business success.   
Held noon-1:30 p.m. Thursday, June 16, at HACC’s Midtown 1, Room 227, 1523 N. Fourth St., Harrisburg. Participants are encouraged to bring a brown bag lunch. June 23           Talkabouts – HACC-York Campus, The Goodling Center – Learn effective ways to meet your potential customers on friendly terms during the June session of HACC’s Talkabouts. Megan McIntire, HACC adjunct professor for sales and marketing, will lead “Sales - Get them . . . Keep them!” The discussion will focus on practical approaches to creating relationships, prospecting successfully and effective follow up.
