Discover 'The Power of Art' at HACC-Lebanon Campus

Free illustration workshop set for April 4

LEBANON – Experience the exciting field of illustration at a free public workshop led by Margaret Brandt from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, in room 112 at the Lebanon Campus of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College.
Participants are invited to bring ideas and a pencil to get a taste of college visual arts creation and discover how illustration can call attention to local and world-wide issues and be a catalyst for change.
Brandt is a visual arts instructor and professional, award-winning illustrator with 30 years of experience in teaching, publishing and illustration. Her most recent children’s book with Trickle Creek Books was named national and international awards winner in the Children’s Educational category of the 2010 and 2011 Best Book Awards.
Sign in, sandwiches and beverages will be provided starting at 5 p.m. The workshop, which is sponsored by the campus art faculty, will begin promptly at 5:30 p.m. The campus is located at 725 Cumberland St. in downtown Lebanon.
Although this event is free, participants must make a reservation by March 28.
