Oct. 24, 2012
CHAMBERSBURG – If career training or getting started with college is on your radar screen, plan to take advantage of a HACC open house in Chambersburg.
The free open house will take place Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012, 4-5:30 p.m. at the Chambersburg Mall, 855 Black Gap Road.
Attendees will learn about career programs including mechatronics, technology studies and heating, ventilation and air conditioning programs. Guests will find out how to start a new career or add to existing work skills.
Potential students will meet faculty and visit the classroom lab, where they have the opportunity to participate in hands-on demonstrations and also discuss career possibilities for high demand jobs in the area. They can also meet and learn what current students have to say about their HACC experience.
Information also will be available about financial aid, scholarships, how to apply, transfer and career options, how HACC credits transfer to four-year schools and how easy it is to enroll and attend.
The $35 application fee will be waived for students who enroll during the open house.
