HACC announces workforce reduction

HARRISBURG – President John J. “Ski” Sygielski, Ed.D., today announced a workforce reduction that includes the elimination of 19 filled positions and 59 vacant positions at HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College.

The reduction of workforce, which affects all five campuses and the college’s central administration, is 3.16 percent of the 2,465 full-time, part-time and adjunct workforce at HACC.

“As of today, all of our impacted employees and their departmental colleagues have been informed,” said HACC President John J. “Ski” Sygielski, Ed.D. “Employees were treated with the dignity and respect they deserve for their years of service to HACC.”
