HACC conference to assist entrepreneurs on road to business ownership

Featured speakers include Central Penn Business Journal publisher, “SmallBizLady”

HARRISBURG – HACC’s Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies will sponsor a one-day conference to assist entrepreneurs who are on the road to starting a business or who have already begun their entrepreneurial journey.
The Entrepreneurial Edge small business conference will be held 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, in the C. Ted Lick Wildwood Conference Center on HACC’s Harrisburg Campus, One HACC Drive.
Keynote speakers for the event include David Schankweiler, publisher, Central Penn Business Journal, and Melinda Emerson of Drexel Hill, a small business expert known as the “SmallBizLady.” The conference will also feature panel discussions, exhibits and networking opportunities.
“This one-day conference is for all entrepreneurs— those who are in the thinking stage for starting a business, those just beginning their entrepreneurial journey, and those who want to grow their business,” said Fran Verotsky, director, Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies. “The program is packed with local entrepreneurs and business people who are eager to present, network, and promote small business in Central Pennsylvania.”
