Representatives and volunteers answer questions about college, complete tax returns and help submit financial aid applications

LANCASTER – Representatives from six colleges will be available to answer questions regarding college at a Get2College event 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25 in the Main Building on HACC’s Lancaster Campus, 1641 Old Philadelphia Pike.
In addition to HACC, Consolidated School of Business, Franklin and Marshall College, Lancaster Bible College, Millersville University and Penn State-York will participate.
A variety of sessions are offered several times during the day including: How to apply for financial aid and scholarships, finding a school that's right for you, and determining what career you should pursue. Volunteers will also provide free tax preparation and help completing and submitting the financial aid application.
“You can come to this event and get answers to just about anything related to college,” said Leanne Frech, campus director of financial aid for HACC’s Lancaster Campus. “and it's a great way to start the financial aid process. We have something for everyone at this event.”
A few sessions require individuals to register, though most are on a walk-in basis. For more information or to register for a session, go to
