HACC offers GED testing at Northern Dauphin Human Services Center

Nov. 5, 2012
HARRISBURG – Students who have started but have not finished their general educational development (GED) courses can take advantage of GED testing offered in the Upper Dauphin area.
“The GED test is going computer-based in 2014. Once this happens, all current GED test scores will be invalidated. Now is the time to finish up your GED so you won’t have to start over,” said Robin Paulison, HACC director of adult education pathways/GED.
A battery of tests will be offered by HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, at Northern Dauphin Human Services Center, 295 State Drive, Elizabethville, for anyone who needs to complete GED testing. Tests will be administered:
Monday, Nov. 19, 2012; 10:30 a.m.-3 p.m.: Writing and science
Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012; 10:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.: Social studies, reading and math
In addition, HACC offers GED classes at the center.
