Early registration provides current and new students with chances to receive $100 tuition discount
HARRISBURG, Pa. – The HACC Foundation, in honor of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College’s 50th anniversary, is giving 1,000 students – 500 new and 500 current students – a “Happy Birthday” present. Current HACC students who register for at least nine credits between March 31 and April 11, 2014, for the fall 2014 semester will be eligible for a drawing to receive $100 off their tuition. New students are also encouraged to register between Monday, April 14 and April 25, 2014, for the same opportunity.
All students who register within the designated two-week period will be entered into the random drawing. Names of the winners will be drawn in May 2014. The $100 credit will be applied to the winners’ accounts by the College. All winners will be notified via email and be given the opportunity to participate in a “Happy Birthday” photo shoot.
“The HACC Foundation wanted to honor the 50 years of education that the institution has provided by giving back to the individuals who have helped us grow – the students,” said Linnie S. Carter, Ph.D., APR, vice president of college advancement at HACC and executive director of the HACC Foundation.
Early registration for current students opens Monday, March 31, 2014, at 8 a.m. for summer and fall 2014 semesters. New student open registration begins Monday, April 14, 2014, at 8 a.m. for summer and fall semesters.
