LANCASTER, Pa. – “The Eyes Have It, 3rd Edition” a free exhibit featuring photographs taken at the Wolf Sanctuary of PA by Manheim photographer Chuck Rineer, will be on display from Monday, April 7 to Wednesday, May 7, 2014, in the Art Space in the East Building of  HACC’s Lancaster Campus.

Rineer will discuss his experience as a wildlife photographer during a reception in his honor on Thursday, April 17, from 5-7 p.m. In addition, Rineer will also give a talk about his work at the Wolf Sanctuary as part of the campus observation of Earth Day on Monday, April 21, from 1 to 2 p.m. in Room 203 of the East Building. Exhibit hours are Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m.-7 p.m., and Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. The exhibit, the reception and the lecture are free and open to the public.

“Photographing wildlife is a great challenge that I have embraced with compassion so that I may share what I witness with others through my photographs. My intent is to allure you to a point of curiosity through eye-to-eye contact with nature,” said Rineer, a critically acclaimed photographer whose work has been chosen by National Geographic for the magazine’s photo library, featured in Readers Digest, the Washington Post, local newspapers and magazines as well as in several published books. Rineer also is a member of a National Geographic research panel regarding nature photography.

His study and photography of wolves, especially those inhabiting the sanctuary, has been a priceless experience, said Rineer, who strongly supports the efforts of the nonprofit rescue group and is a volunteer tour guide for the sanctuary.
