HACC Provides Assistance to Former Keystone Technical Institute Students

July 3, 2017
HARRISBURG, Pa. – HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, is assisting displaced Keystone Technical Institute (KTI) students with transitioning their credits to complete their education at HACC.

“With the closing of KTI, HACC is committed to helping the former KTI students complete their educational goals. HACC has taken steps to help students enroll with us. As students contact us, they are completing applicable tests to determine the KTI classes for which they can receive the maximum HACC credit,” said Stephen Ampersand, interim vice president of HACC’s Office of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management.

The HACC programs that apply to these students are dental assisting, medical assisting, culinary arts, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, electrical technology and computer information systems. For more information about these programs, please visit HACC’s website.

In addition, HACC has agreed to allow the students and faculty of KTI’s Expanded Function Dental Assistant Program to use the dental clinic at HACC’s Harrisburg Campus so that already enrolled students can complete their required hands-on skills.

KTI students should contact Allen Norton, admissions counselor, at ajnorton@hacc.edu for more information.
