Adventures of ‘James and the Giant Peach’ on Stage Nov. 18 at HACC
HARRISBURG, Pa. – HACC’s Theatre for Young People will stage the adventures of “James and the Giant Peach” in the Rose Lehrman Art Center theatre on HACC’s Harrisburg Campus. The public performance is Nov. 18, 2018, at 2 p.m.
 
Suitable for children age 5 and older, this beautiful retelling of Roald Dahl’s classic tale follows the extraordinary adventures of young James, his enchanting friends and an unusually large peach! HACC Theatre Professor Brenda C. Eppley will direct this adaption by David Wood.
 
The audience will follow orphan James Henry Trotter, who is sent to live with his cruel aunts at the top of a high hill. After James accidentally spills a mysterious bag filled with magic, a giant peach appears that carries him on an incredible journey with his fabulous new friends – Centipede, Earthworm, Grasshopper, Ladybird and Spider.

HACC to Host Open House for Future Massage Therapists
HARRISBURG, Pa. – Individuals interested in pursuing a career in massage therapy are invited to an informational open house at the Harrisburg Campus of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, on Nov. 26, 2018. The open house will be held from 6-7 p.m. in the John Hall Technology Building, Room 203.
 
HACC’s Massage Therapy Program introduces students to a variety of massage methods, and teaches the balance between technique, caring for others and self-care. Students build their skills through 115 hours of hands-on experience.

Classes are offered during a full-time day program and a part-time evening and weekend program, and financial aid is available to those who qualify.
