More than $90,000 allocated to key projects that benefit HACC HARRISBURG, Pa. - The HACC Foundation recently provided funding for key projects at HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, and named new Board members. 
 
The HACC Foundation, a nonprofit organization that raises private contributions in support of HACC, approved more than $90,000 for projects at the College. This funding is made possible through generous contributions from individual and organizational donors.
 
The HACC Foundation funded the following projects:

	Simulation Lab Medication Carts	Funding will support purchasing six medication and computer charting carts for the Nursing Program at HACC’s Harrisburg Campus.	$15,000
	Paralegal Westlaw Resources	Funding will support purchasing the legal research resources that are necessary for the Paralegal Studies Program to maintain their American Bar Association approval.	$13,500
	High Fidelity Nursing Simulation Mannequins	Funding will support the acquisition of two auscultation simulation mannequins for the Nursing Program on HACC’s Harrisburg Campus.	$11,000
	Gettysburg Campus Mechatronics Upgrade Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) Panels	Funding will support upgrading and expanding the PLC boards used within the Mechatronics Program at HACC’s Gettysburg Campus.	$7,500
	Student Affairs Student Focus Group Response Analysis	Funding will support hiring a consultant to analyze data collected from student focus groups at HACC’s five campuses. The results will help to improve student advising.	$4,589.66
	Gettysburg Campus Dual Enrollment Support	Funding will support students dually enrolled in high school and at HACC.	$2,475
	Brenton Good: An Edge is First a Cut	Funding will support guest artist Brenton Good’s exhibit of his paintings and prints in the Rose Lehrman Art Gallery.	$1,000
	Perkins Career and Technical Education (CTE) Graduate Survey Incentive to Improve Response Rate	Funding will support the purchase of incentives for individuals who complete the Perkins CTE Graduate survey.	$500

HACC Foundation Appoints New Board Members
HARRISBURG, Pa. – The HACC Foundation, a nonprofit educational trust established to raise private and corporate revenues in support of HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College, welcomed three new board members to the HACC Foundation Board.

Brandon J. Flood serves as secretary of the Pennsylvania Board of Pardons. He previously worked for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for nearly a decade in various professional capacities and formerly served as policy director for the Pennsylvania Department of General Services and legislative director for the State Employees International Union. He serves on many boards and organizations, including president of Bro2GO, Inc.; co-chair of Dauphin County’s Books in Barbershops program; member of Dauphin County Prison’s Community Advisory Committee; chairman of the Greater Harrisburg NAACP’s Legal Redress Committee; and member of the Steelton Zoning Hearing Board.
 
Joshua Gouker, branch manager II at Members 1st Federal Credit Union, has over 10 years of experience in the financial sector. He earned his associate degree in paralegal studies from HACC, an experience he fondly recalls. He serves on the Arc of Cumberland and Perry Counties and the Carlisle Young Professionals. Gouker joined the HACC Foundation Board because he “believes in HACC as a person, as a former student and as someone who is concerned about the education of those in south-central Pennsylvania.”
 
Matthew Staub is the investment advisor at PSI Capital Management, an independent, regional Registered Investment Advisor firm. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and economics from Lebanon Valley College and a master’s degree in economics from Temple University. He serves on the board of directors of the Rotary Club of Harrisburg and is a former board member of the Capital Region Civitan Club.
