PSECU Creates Emergency Assistance Fund for Students at HACC
HARRISBURG, Pa – Many students at HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, face unexpected hurdles while pursuing their education. These challenges can create financial hardships that make it difficult for students to continue or complete their educational journeys. Emergency assistance funds were designed to help HACC students overcome these challenges.

PSECU generously started the PSECU Emergency Assistance Fund to help students impacted by financial challenges that could derail them from achieving their goals.

“PSECU has been a partner to HACC and the HACC Foundation for more than two decades. When I asked them to consider establishing this fund – which is especially critical during a health pandemic – they agreed right away. PSECU consistently walks the talk,” said Linnie S. Carter, Ph.D., APR, vice president of college advancement at HACC and executive director of the HACC Foundation.
