$10,000 Gift Benefits Students at HACC's Gettysburg Campus

HARRISBURG, Pa. – A $10,000 gift from the Robert C. Hoffman Charitable Endowment Trust to the Student Success Fund for Excellence at the Gettysburg Campus will provide life-changing support to Adams County students at HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College.
 
The funds will be distributed by the HACC Foundation to assist students with food insecurity, housing insecurity and the purchase of textbooks.
 
Linnie S. Carter, Ph.D., APR, the vice president of college advancement at HACC and executive director of the HACC Foundation, said, “We are deeply grateful for the longstanding community partnership between the Robert C. Hoffman Charitable Endowment Trust; HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College; and the HACC Foundation. This student assistance to combat food insecurity, address housing insecurity and help students purchase textbooks will change the lives of our students and their families and contribute to a stronger Adams County community.”
