“Medical assistants are important health care professionals who perform clinical and administrative duties,” said Lou Baverso, president, UPMC in Central Pa. “Becoming a medical assistant is a great way to enter into the health care field while opening opportunities to a number of career paths options.”

“Medical assistants play a key role in the healthcare field and we’re HACC proud to partner with UPMC to support them. The College’s program prepares our students to enter the workforce quickly while ensuring they have the tools they need to be successful in their career,” said HACC President and CEO John J. “Ski” Sygielski, MBA, Ed.D.
