At 2:15 p.m. on Dec. 2, HACC announced an update. On Dec. 2, HACC campuses are closed due to inclement weather:
• All day and evening classes are cancelled. These cancellations include on-campus classes, remote instruction classes, online learning classes, labs, services, off-campus clinicals and off-campus internships.
• Only essential employees should report to work. Essential employees are those required to perform required critical tasks during a closure to (1) maintain critical services and (2) prepare the campuses for readiness.
• All other employees do not need to work and are not required to use leave. These employees’ scheduled meetings are canceled.
We are committed to attracting and enrolling learners in educational opportunities that will enhance their lives and their communities.
“Enrolling at HACC means joining a diverse body of students, who may come for short-term career skills or the first two years of a bachelor’s degree. They will find a welcoming environment, various learning opportunities and clear pathways to meet their goals.”
- Cynthia Doherty, Ph.D., Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs
“Our goals are to create opportunities for life- long learning and remove obstacles and barriers to participation in education. Through our institutional imperative of Inclusion and Diversity we continue to promote belonging, awareness, a learning environment that embraces inclusion and fosters diversity and cultural sensitivity college-wide.”
– Armenta Early Hinton, Ph.D. Vice President of Inclusion and Diversity and Title IX Coordinator
