Total Cost of Attendance

Cost of Attendance (COA) is an estimate of how much it costs to attend college. It is used to calculate the amount of aid for which you are eligible. The COA is NOT the amount charged by the college. COA is a combination of direct student expenses like tuition, books and student fees and estimated expenses like transportation, food and housing. HACC is required to include those estimated expenses, even though the college doesn't charge you for those items.

How much you owe to HACC each semester will depend only on the tuition and fees for any classes you take. You can view those costs after registering for classes on your Schedule/Invoice in myHACC. 

In-state resident tuition and fees are $342.25 per credit hour, and out-of-state non-resident tuition and fees are $487.25 per credit hour. These rates may be lower for students who reside in a school district that provides sponsorship. HACC considers full-time status as 12 credits per term and part-time status as based on 6 credits per term.

Remember that COA is an estimate. The amount shown is not the amount a student will be billed by HACC, which will be considerably lower.
