Dr. Edna Baehre, President of Harrisburg Area Community College and Dr. Madlyn L. Hanes, Provost and Dean Penn State Harrisburg signed a credit transfer agreement that provides seamless transition of HACC students into the new Penn State information sciences and technology degree program. Accompanying Dr. Baehre and Dr. Hanes was Nancy Rockey, Dean of Workforce and Economic Development for HACC. The agreement includes a transfer guide for students covering the entire four years of study at the two campuses, and provides for continual academic counseling at the two locations. HACC and Penn State already have an agreement that allows the community college¹s students to transfer 26 other baccalaureate programs. The new agreement sets the course requirements for HACC students who plan to pursue an IST degree at Penn State.
