Hershey Foods Corporation donated four large electrical training panels, with a total value of $20,000, to Harrisburg Area Community College's Community Center for Technology and Arts, on Fourth Street in Harrisburg.

"HACC is very interested in partnerships with local companies, like Hershey Foods, in the development of activities which support the training of our local workforce," said Thompson. "These panels are real-world technology and will provide the skills needed for immediate employment."

"Bob and I were pleased to be included in the development of this exciting new program at HACC," said Hebel. "The boards were assembled from actual equipment used in industry, providing students with the necessary 'hands on' experience for a successful career in industrial maintenance."

The "electrical trainers" will be used for teaching electrical concepts and theory. Residents interested in pursuing an occupation in electronics or other technology programs at HACC's Community Center for Technology and Arts can contact the College, at 233-4777.
